The City Manager is a position appointed by the City Council. The City Manager directs and administers city activities and directs the operation of the City according to the directions and policies established by the Mayor and City Council.

Assistant City Manager

      The Assistant City Manager controls operations and directs resolution of personnel, budgetary and general administrative issues and programs.  The Assistant City Manager directs and participates in the development, prioritization and implementation of organizational goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.

City Secretary

The City-Secretary plans, directs, manages and oversees the activities, operations and personnel in the City Secretary's Office.  City Secretary and administrative functions include conducting elections; performing duties as custodian of the official records; preparing and recording City Council meeting agendas and minutes, and City ordinances, resolutions, proclamations, policies and procedures, contracts, agreements, deeds, easements, legal notices, official communications, documents, etc.; overseeing human resources and payroll; and acting as the public information officer for the City.

Finance includes utility billing, accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, internal auditing, external auditing coordination, grant coordination, and special projects.
